Year One is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering new entrepreneurs by providing free business services in their first year of business, with a special focus on minority and women-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses, and formerly incarcerated individuals’ businesses. By offering critical start up services
and providing education, mentorship, and resources, we assist aspiring business owners overcome challenges and turn their ideas and dreams into thriving enterprises.
Our Vision
Year One intends to change the narrative for new business owners. Regardless of a person’s social status, race, or belief in self, our vision is that with our support, business owners become empowered to run successful businesses.
